Finally, after a year of submitting Haiku poetry to a couple of Journals I am going to be published! Modern Haiku has agreed that one of my haiku is worthy of a bit of ink. My little poem will appear in issue 41.1 (winter-spring 2010). Pretty exciting for me as it took so long to finally happen. According to my friend, poet Hosho McCreesh who encouraged me to send work out for consideration, it is pretty standard for a beginning poet to go a long time before publication so I feel pretty good about this.
